About Deni Avdija

Born in 2001 in Beit Zera, Deni Avdija is considered the greatest basketball prospect in Israeli history. At the age of 16, he became the youngest player to suit up for Maccabi Tel Aviv. In November, the Washington Wizards drafted Avdija ninth overall, higher than any Israeli player had been picked before him.
